Jessica studied Speech Pathology at the University of Sydney. Her passion for working with children evolved from caring for a young family friend with a disability.
She finds it incredibly rewarding when any child learns how to improve their communication and especially when those with little or no speech are able to use words to communicate for the first time. Her special interests include Paediatric disability and developmental delays, augmentative and alternative communication (pictures, visuals) and early childhood language delays. Jessica is patient, understanding and compassionate. She realises the immense impact of communication challenges on loved ones, and therefore the benefits of support and intervention, for the child, as well as their family and support network.
